Fort Stanton Live
Step Back in Time at Fort Stanton’s Annual Historical Event!
Fort Stanton Historic Site and Fort Stanton, Inc. are thrilled to welcome visitors back to Lincoln County for the annual Fort Stanton Live celebration!
Held every year in partnership with Fort Stanton Inc., Fort Stanton Live brings the past to life with costumed interpreters from the nineteenth century. The event features a variety of activities, including historical presentations, old-time games, and live performances. Attendees can enjoy infantry and artillery demonstrations, presentations by writers and historians, and see the work of quilters, weavers, and potters. The event also offers site tours, food vendors, and period-appropriate bands. Dancers from the Mescalero Apache Tribe will perform on the parade grounds, and other tribal members will serve Indian tacos and showcase arts and crafts.
Admission
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 16 and younger.
Free admission on the day of the event is available for Culture Pass Holders, Blue Star Families, New Mexico Museum Foundation Members, New Mexico Disabled Veterans, and Foster Families.
