Join us for Fort Fun Day at Fort Stanton Historic Site, a day dedicated to history, learning, and community connection.
The event begins with a flag raising ceremony at 10:00 AM, followed by a guided tour of the site at 11:00 AM led by knowledgeable staff. At 1:00 PM, Talrick Enjady, a Mescalero/Chiricahua Apache artist, will present in the museum, sharing his work and the role of storytelling in Native art traditions.
Guests are encouraged to explore the grounds throughout the day before gathering for the flag lowering ceremony at 2:45 PM.
Admission is free for New Mexico residents on First Sunday, as well as for children 16 and under, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, Fort Stanton, Inc. members, and MNMF members. Admission for non-residents is $7 for adults.
